between dimethyl ether and benzene which has a lower BP?

i thought it was benzene that had lower BP bc dimethyl ether is polar (cant H-bond but still is polar) but the answer is that the dimethyl ether is the lower BP.

why?

I think it is because benzene is extremely stable (Aromatic) which makes it harder to break its intramolecular bonds. This raises its BP.

Ether is only very slightly polar and so, when it comes to the DAT, it's safe to assume that ether is even non-polar.

So dimethyl ether will have a lower BP.
