I need help with figuring out how AADSAS will calculate my 2 attempts at taking Gen Chem1.
First attempt at Gen Chem1:
credit hours:3
quality points:0 ...I made an F

Second attempt at Gen Chem1:
credit hours:3
quality points: 9 ...I made a B

I just read that AADSAS takes the average of the two grades. What does this mean in terms of my numbers mentioned above?

Do I add 6 credit hours and 9 quality points to the rest of my other classes' credit hours and quality points to get my GPA...or...
do take the average.....and just add 3 credit hours and 4.5 quality points to the rest of my other classes' credit hours and quality points to get my GPA?
(And of course, I know I would then take the total quality points/total credit hours ...to get my final GPA).

Long story short, you just count both of the classes in your GPA like any way you would calculate your GPA. Nothing special.

Unless something changed in the last year, AADSAS doesn't take the average of the two grades, it uses both grades. AADSAS will use both grades when calculating your GPA to report to schools.
