Are your parents married or living together?

If they’re not together you’re supposed to put down the parent who last lived with or supported you more. I’m sure people are not always honest about this though and just put down the parent who makes less to make themselves have greater need.

They're not married but they do live together. Does that change anything about needing to put the one that supports me more?

I think after you select "unmarried, living together" it will require you to list info about both parents. Is that not the case?

Yep that's the case. I just put "Never married" because they never actually married anyone before (not to each other either). I didn't pay much attention to that and didn't notice that "unmarried and living together" was an option lol. Thank you!
