I'd say biology. I did not hate it and still don't hate it. But the sheer memorization required was the hardest for me. I found orgo to be "soothing and fun" because of the professor. Physics was a breeze because of the professor, and my calc II and III professor is the best damn lady I've ever met. She used to teach a bit a UMaryland for those of you that may be a bit older, Lia Vas.
Which pre-med requirement was most difficult for you?
The hundreds of dollars for the MCAT along with the cost to apply to schools really hurt. And yes, the thousands of dollars it costs to go to the med school interviews. Oh well, it is the cost of doing business.
Organic made the most sense to me. Physics - well, let's just say I thought I understood it most of the time, but apparently my professor & the MCAT people disagree.
I picked math just because that was my lowest grade, though. But it was probably physics.
biochem. Hands down. The bio majors didn't have much trouble with it, but the chem majors were trying to learn all that d*mn bio stuff that we didn't have before.
I thought physics was a breeze -- it just made sense to me (although 1/3 of the class failed, including several potential physics majors).
Physics was the worst. I took Calc-based physics, as my school didn't offer algebra-based. Brutal! Barely scraped by with a B+. Counting the homework, tutoring sessions, labs, and lecture time, I spent 20-25 hours a week on that class alone. I'm now starting Physics II in a couple of days, this time algebra-based (thank GOD). Still, it blows, because the material is hard (I got the waves/magnetism one).
