I'm almost done with my first run through Uworld and I have 4.5 weeks left until my exam.

Two questions:
1. I think I might have time to TRY to get through another Qbank before I start Uworld for a second time. Which Qbank should I do? Rx or Kaplan.

2. How much time should I realistically give myself to get through Uworld a second time and still have time review material before the test? I hope to divide the time 60/40 with questions: material review.

Also, please let me know if you think my time would be used more effectively in JUST sticking with UWorld.

I haven't done Kaplan, but just judging by the advice around here and from friends I would go with Rx. One of my good friends did Kaplan and it just seems too nitpicky. I did Rx throughout this semester and thought it was really helpful before I started Uworld and my dedicated study time.

Then again, I haven't taken the test yet, so what do I know?

I had the same issue as you in that I finished U World a few weeks before my exam. I used UW and UsmleRx throughout the school year, so I wanted some new questions and have been using Kaplan. Although the questions definitely ARE nit-picky, I think that it really is helping my score just to see fresh questions and to look at topics presented in a new way. Now, I think that choosing Rx or Qbank really depends on what you're looking for- I had already gone through FA and was trying to pick up more detailed questions like some of the trickier ones I've been seeing on the NBMEs, but I do believe that Rx is probably more high-yield.

I take the exam on Saturday (ahhhh- only 6 days left!), so of course, take my advice as you will. For what it's worth, I think that either Kaplan or Rx would be good choices, but Kaplan may help you pick up some more details, and Rx may help you really get the details of FA hammered into your brain. I think it depends on how much material you want to review in this time period. If you do UW for the whole day, it can be done in 2 weeks, especially the 2nd time around, but if you're going to be reviewing FA or whatever else, then I know it would take me a little longer than that.
