Hi everyone,

I was wondering which qbank u would recommend going through right before sitting for the exam?

I have just about finished my first pass of Uworld...I'm now trying to decide whether or not it would be better for me to go through it again after finishing it, or do usmlerx first and then redo uworld up until my exam?
I should also mention that I've been slowly going thru uworld over the last few months so a huge chunk of the questions are not going to be fresh in my head, as i've only been doing about 3 or 4 blocks of 46 qs/week.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks

Well, since you gave the option, you must have the time... going through Rx completely, then doing Uworld again is what you should do.

But if you don't have time, Uworld a 2nd time, takes priority over Rx. Always.

If you find that you are left with 'just a little time' after the 2nd pass, memorizing Uworld would still be greater than only doing 30% of Rx, and Rx should not be the bank to hit up right before or leading up to the exam.

Awesome, thanks for the response and advice!

I just want to respectfully disagree wth the notion that UW a 2nd time takes priority over Rx always. there really is no consensus as far as I can tell on this forum that doing UW twice is the way to go. certainly some people do it, but plenty of people don't.

I do agree that rx shouldnt be used right before the exam, it should be done pretty early in the study period.

So then, by your logic, he should do 1 pass of uworld, and stop, and sit on his hands until he sits for his exam?

You are agreeing with me, with the time he has left, hes going to do Uworld and not switch to Rx leading up to his exam.

??

Thanks for you input though.

Actually, what I would recommend is to go over the explanations to the UW questions he has done via the previous tests tab, and then with remaining time go over First Aid as many times as possible.

As long as the general consensus is for me to hit up Uworld right before the exam, that works for me.

Thanks for everyone's input, really appreciate it!
