Hi everyone, just wondering if you'd like to share the best way to communicate with schools. i.e. fax, letter, telephone, email..questions, additional informaiton, or supplemental material. This is more for the students applying next year. Please share your experiences.

I would have say the staff at Michigan, Mayo, and the University of Illinois are very prompt at replying to emails.

SLU was prompt in returning my email. In fact, I think it is their preferred method of communication with applicants.

Of the schools that I have e-mailed, Wake Forest, UF, USF and UM all get back to you that same day or early the next day. Thus far, Meharry has yet to return my e-mail from two weeks ago.

I will agree that UF and Miami respond to e-mails quickly. Other schools that reply fast to e-mail include Albany and Drexel. Forget about hearing anything from Meharry! I have e-mailed them about a couple of things and they never did respond. Temple has not been good about responding to me either.

not that many people apply, but the University of South Carolina responds within hours...i've emailed about 5 times and received a reply within 2 hours (probably only that long because they were at lunch). Their quick action is probably due to the fact they only receive about 1500 applications, but still it's nice to see they are prompt.

UMDNJ-NJMS (Newark, NJ) is very fast if you emailed George Heinrich. He replies to every email he gets, most of them on the day he gets them.
