laptops for dental school?
 
Not sure about which schools require it, but I'm thinking it would be wise to get a laptop no matter where you end up.

true, but don't buy it now. Some schools require you to buy THEIR laptop. (although most allow you to get a compatible one- they will tell you the specifications)
