Ok, so now that I've gotten my poopy mcat scores and my application ready to go, which osteopathic schools do you guys think I should be applying to?

My stats:

5v,9p,10b....3.9 (science and non)...2 years as a nursing assistant in a hospital....3 years volunteer youth leader at my church....1 semester of research and a summer as a camp counselor/lifeguard...solid letters and a decent statement

I think that about covers it. I appreciate your opinions.

Apply to every school you think you might want to attend. You'll get in somewhere. Only your verbal section is "poopy", the other sections are good and the composite score is average. Don't sweat it.

I've got my mcat scores......for me to poop on! Hey hud, I'll trade you my 7 p for your 5 v and throw a few extra grade points my way and we'll have a deal.

Final score for Nater:

Sciene gpa (graduate&undergraduate) 3.2
Non-Science 3.42
9v 7p 10b

and an O in writing...I'm not sure how an O in the writing section plays in all this. Is it an O **** I got an O...or is it O yea baby! Or more like O the hell with it?

extra stuff:
On weekends work in an ED
weekdays as a biochemist
used to be a firefighter/emt
Spent a year in grad school
volunteer for the special olympics
help little old ladies across the street
occasionally pay my taxes

What's up people..should I hold on to that number I've got tucked away for a truck driving school?

😕

put down the phone, get on the computer and apply...I think your in good shape, GO FOR IT.
Good Luck.

Truck driving school is tempting....... CONVOY!!!!

You guys don't sound like total geebs, in fact your apps sound pretty solid. Similar to mine actually..

Non-Science: 3.5
