Hey all

Doing some research on smp programs - I took the MCAT August of 2009 and got a 35 evenly distributed -

What is the last cycle I can use my MCAT without retaking?

Also I did get 5 interviews this cycle - and would like to re-apply next cycle, but also enroll in an SMP - Does anyone know if this is wise? Or which SMP is best for that situation?

Thanks!

3 years seems a common norm, so you should be OK applying next next cycle (2013 matriculation) after your mcat..

I think SMP is only really wise if your GPA/MCAT is lacking. If the SMP offers a princeton review course, you can waive out of it since you have a high MCAT. If your GPA is high too, I wouldn't think SMP would be the road to take.

I think with 5 interviews, though, you should be able to get in somewhere this cycle.
