Hello,

I was recently accepted to 3 Biomedical Sciences Program and I'm debating which to attend. Just some background info., I'm from Washington and I'm hoping to attend dental school. However, I did poorly in undergrad and I wish to strengthen my GPA via the Master's route.

If you have any information or experience on the following programs, it would be very helpful for me to know in coming to a decision 🙂

1. Mississippi College - 1 year
2. Rutgers (Dental Scholars Track) - 1 year
3. Barry University (accepted for the 2 year track)

Mississippi if they give you instate after the completion of the Master program. Their dental school only accept students from Mississippi, so your odd are very high if you are able to get instate residency.

Good afternoon.

The Barry BMS campus is located in sunny Hollywood, FL (just north of Miami and just south of Ft. Lauderdale). You will be required to take Physiology, Anatomy, Histology, Oral pathology (for dental track), 2 Biochemistry courses, and several elective courses of your choice.

Barry BMS has had some students accepted several dental schools, including Tufts University, Nova Southeastern University, Howard University, Virginia Commonwealth, New York University, University of Maryland, University of Detroit, Boston University, Meharry Medical College, University of Florida, A.T. Still University, Midwestern University, Indiana University, Roseman University, Touro College, University of Illinois, University of Louisville, and University of Utah among other schools.

Good luck with your decision. Let me know if you have any more questions.

If you don't mind I am on the same track and wondering what test did you take to get into these programs ( dat, mcat, gre)? and also if you don't mind what were your gpa and said test ranges so I can see if I would be competitive.
