Hi.I am doing an experiment where I am looking at the effect of 4 different treatments on infiltration of cells into the brain. I am counting the number of cells infiltrated into the brain and I want to see whether there are any differences in the number of cells infiltrated into the brain between the four treatments. Which stats test should I use (t test, one way anova) to determine if there are any differences in the number of cells infiltrated into the brain?

You shouldn't be asking homework/research help here. Ask your labmates/PI.

With that being said, just run ANOVA using SAS (or whatever stats program you prefer to use). Multiple t tests (which would be required in this case) wouldn't be a good idea.

Kaushik is right. Sorry, SDN isn't the place for homework help. Thread closed.
