How effective is the Grid method? Is it fail-safe for any hole punching problem? I'm actually better at angles than hole-punching (and I score 9-10 on angles, which is crappy...so that goes to show you how wonderful my hole-punching score ends up being).

What are the best known methods for hole-punching? I've tried using my fingers, but my brain can't keep up. I need a draw-out method. Is the Grid method the only one known? I've yet to learn it, which is why I ask.

The grid method is alright. I turn to it as a last resort. I had a lot of difficulty with hole punching up until just a few weeks ago. I started doing A LOT of practice problems and was soon getting 17-18 out of 20 right. It takes a lot of practice. I also have sticky notes and a damn hole puncher in my desk drawer haha. If I can't visualize it, I just do it myself.

I do grid methods with my fingers. I don't know if this makes any sense but, I draw it out on my head and also put my fingers where the holes have to be made.
