I am just wondering how many people have applied so far?

The 7th mailing was sent out this past Tuesday, most of us in that mailing had #s in 16XX's. 🙂

That number is probably just for that mailing and does not reflect the current number of applications that have been submitted. I would say that the number is already above 2000.

When I applied last year, my number was 181. I had no idea how low it was until I came across this board. I submitted my app about a week after the first avaliable date. The numbers go up by the thousands as months go on. It's crazy!!!

That's still pretty low. I was thinking it was going to be the 2000s or even 3000. I guess things kind of slow down after the first month.

That's not possible - I think you are missing a digit or two. When I submitted my application on June 1st the number was almost 500.

I have to agree that you must be mistaken about your number. I submitted my app on May 25th and was in the mid 200's.

When you receive your confirmation packet it will have a number in the upper, righthand corner that will be 2005XXXXX - 2005 stands for the year and the XXXXX is your number. You can contact AADSAS and they will let you know what your applicant number is. You can contact AADSAS via phone and get it that way.

For you guys that submitted mid July, did you have to call to get your number? Or did you get something in the mail already? I submitted mine on July 15, but i havn't heard anything yet.

Infosource shows that some of my LOR and transcript came in, so I wasn't worried about the number until I needed it. But if you guys already got confirmation in the mail, maybe i need to call in.

Right on track...last year I applied in early August (August 8th, I think) and I was 3011.

And let me say this, if you are applying now, you are no longer early. You're in the middle of the pack. 3000 people beat you to the punch!!! So don't delay any longer, get those LORs & transcripts in. Get your PS done and submit the darn thing ASAP.

I submitted on July 21st and my number is 2445.

I spoke to AADSAS customer srevice just this morning and they said that it will go out in the 11th mailing which will be in 3 1/2 - 4 weeks. They also said that the application volume has really started to increase so things are taking longer now.
