Who do you think has the worst/impersonal admissions office staff when you contact them?

For me, Tennessee's Paula Webber: Answered my question with one word when I called, said bye and hung up.😕

What question did you ask her?

for western, try emailing them. i got an instant reply back!

Definitely UMDNJ, although Nova's admission lady is a real bitch as well. I think she might have sat on a pool cue and now has a stick shoved up her a** cuz she was really rude abrupt and unhelpful.

If the Deficiencies she emailed me about needed to be completed before application submission or matriculation. Look at Tennessee's website; when you click requirements it sends you to the wrong link, and it's been this way for at least a year now.

Answer: Matriculation! *click*

I have to go with Case..the admissions lady (at least one of them) is crazy; rude and unclear.

I agree, Nova's lady is harsh. I called her early this year around Jan/Feb to get a feel for where I would potentially stand if I apply to Nova, she told me that with a 3.3 or 3.4 I would be considered a 'weak' applicant and, although she tried to make some bull up to comfort me (or atleast I think it was an attempt at comfort), her focus was on directing me towards a post-bac or masters i.e. away from dental school, before I think to apply.

Needless to say, while I may not get ACCEPTED, Nova was my first interview invite back in July.. and Im gonna shiiiine 😛 haha.

The moral of my story is: Don't let the bitter voice on the phone get in your way.

ASDOH?

that lady was pretty mean when I called for my confirmation #.

My friend didn't hear back from any med schools so he decided to go overseas to England for med school.

He got a call from George Washington Med School 3 days before classes started and he canceled with his school in England, packed up, and flew back to the US...but hey, admissions is admissions.

is everyone here serious? I called like every school on the list and every single one of them was very helpful...Nova I just left messages and no reply from them, but got an email back the next day to the same question. I was cracking some jokes to the one at Columbia (when i spelt out my last name, i said "probably the only one in your entire database" she laughed pretty hard, a little too hard maybe...

Although I did call a guy at Temple, who reply with just, I don't know about various questions...almost said, "You do work at Temple right?"
