I was reading somewhere that chapter's 19-21 are good to focus on for the DAT. One of the chapters is strictly Viruses, and I can't recall what the other two cover (book is in my car).

Did anyone use this book when studying for the DAT? Any input on it? I know it's a well-written book, but I'm not sure how effective it might be for the DAT. Also, I have the Eighth edition.

Im using it now to help clarify subjects that im weak in. ex genetics, genetic technology etc. Im using Barrons AP bio as my primary source though

I would not recommend in using Campbells unless you have all the time in the world to study and you are planning to write the DAT next year. It is far too detailed and lengthy. Go for more of a concise book that tells you everything you need to know, which is Cliffs AP Bio. Make sure to know everything in cliffs and you should be good.
