I was wondering who else is still waiting to hear from schools around Jan 17th...(those who got acceptec on Dec 2nd had 45 days to notify schools, so now the schools will be sending out more acceptance letters to fill up the seats...)

i am developing the same syndrome as those who were waiting to hear on Dec 2nd...

Does anyone know---When a second wave of applicants are accepted (jan 17th), how many days do they have to put down a deposit? Is it also 45 days?

I don't think we hear that early... most of schools started on jan 6th or 7nth... and from what i noticed the commitee in majority of schools meets every 2 or 3 weeks... so hang in there.... hopefully we hear by the end of January...
has anyone heard from USC??? why are they soooo slow? I had my interview in October!!!!!! and still haven't heard anything... 😡

You have 30 days to reply if you receive anything between now and 2/1. After that I believe you have only 15 days to respond.

I'm still waiting for NYU. I spoke to Ms. Knowles and she notified me that a letter was sent out and to just be patient.

If Amy told you that a letter was sent out it was probably an acceptance letter.

p.s: weren't you told to retake the DAT as well??? i wonder if there is anything for me coming in the mail as well.

sounds very promising : that's EXACTLY what Amy Knowles told me over the phone before I received my acceptance letter (but be forewarned, it came in a thin envelope which freaked me the hell out)....see you in the fall! 🙂

Thank you both. I don't want to get my hopes up just yet. Once that darn letter is in my hands, then I can take a nice deep breath. The thing that only worries me is that I spoke to her last Monday and she said that she'll send it out. Being that I live within 2 miles of the school, I expected the letter on Tuesday. I called back on Friday and that's when she told me that it was sent and to be patient.

Luckily I wasn't asked to retake the DATs, I was just missing my Letters of Recommendation. I believe that and the holiday season were the only things that made my application lag behind the others.

We'll see but thanks to your positive feedback, I should sleep well tonight.

im anxiously waiting to hear back from pitt....i interviewed there mid-november.....i just want to know already so i can make plans for the rest of my life!! 🙄

I too am waiting,
It has been a month since i have sent in secondaries and whatnot. I was hoping to hear about interviews soon, but turns out one of my letters got mixed up, so I assume all has been set right. the waiting continues. any suggestions appreciated.
