In case of residency program at Hospital 'A' where the residents rotate to the other hospitals in the town like Hospital 'B' and Hospital 'C'

Which hospital/hospitals bear the resident cost ?

I believe that hospital A continues to pay the resident. Hospitals B and C sometimes provide some type of reimbursement to hospital A.

Yes, hospitals B and C would usually give money to hospital A, and hospital A would write the check to the resident.
