Right now I am planning on asking
1) my old supervisor at the administrative office of a hospital
2) my university advisor (who has worked at the NIH, is a prehealth advisor, etc.)

I am mainly torn between two options: I could ask my anthro bio professor who i've had a couple times. I got an A+ in his class, went into office hours a few times, he knows my interest in public health etc etc but all in all we do not know each other very well...he knows i am a good student but not what kind of worker i am.

OR i could ask my previous employer, who could write very highly of me in a specific way. the problem is, even tho i was the administrative/marketing assistant, the job was for a car company. therefore, my previous employer may seem like a random recommendation.

i'm wondering for the management/administrative track for public health, if it might be okay if the recommendor is not from the health sector, as long as it was management related. i'm not sure what is acceptable for the public health management programs, since the focus is different from other areas of public health.

sorry for the novel, but i'd really apprecaite any help! thanks!
