HI all,

did anyone not major in bio, and use mcb 102 as the moklecular bio req. If so, what did you use for biochem?


I also took 2 extra semester of biochem, but i don't think that will work.

Just call the office, keck people are really cool, so i like to think. I did not even realize that, but then again one of my majors was mcb so i figured i had taken enough classes. Did you take only mcb 102 because that is biochemistry but also molecular biology so it is possible to use one class to satisfy two things. If you took mcb 102 mcb 130 then you are all good.

i have the same problem. i didn't take any upper div mcb's besides 102. i was just thinking of listing it for both but maybe thats not the best idea.

USC is obviously going to tell you that you should have taken MCB100 and 110 like real biochemistry majors! I'm sure everything will be fine.

I sis 1A/3A as g-chem, 3B/102 as biochem and 130 as molecular bio. The thing is, I wouldn't worry too much about it--USC has TONS of students from Berkeley. I'm sure everyone worries about this every year. I bet you could do a a search and find a thread on this.
