i was chillin' before i got rejected from temple on friday.


now i'm not.


i'm thinking of my friend who had the exact same stats as me (3.6/34) from the same ugrad school (penn) and didn't get in anywhere one year and had to re-apply the next year and got in off a waitlist.

holy shat i hope thats not my road.

umm...ever since my two interviews ive felt like i drank 10 cups of coffee ALL DAY LONG!!! yea i keep reading the worst case scenarios and keep praying that it wont be me...dont worry youre not the only one!!

My stats are 3.6, 34 from a school not nearly as good as penn. I got 3 rejections early, but I also got my first acceptance a week and a half ago. It'll happen for you.

I don't have my MSAR in front of me, but 90 some percent of folks with a 34 get into medical school. Check it out.

Haybrant, I have the same stats as you and I'm definitely worried. I took the Aug MCAT so I'm behind, I haven't heard anything yet other than 1 rejection. I'm a little OCD with checking my e-mail and reg mail way too often. I really hoped I would hear something early, like by the end of October, but when that didn't happen my optimism faded and now I'm worried I won't hear anything until the new year, and then I'll just be interviewing for the waitlist. 🙁

I got really screwed b.c of my LOR's; didnt even realize it was too much of a prob but the time kept slippin; anyone out there that can quell our fears just a tad? im slippin, falling, can't get up...

And I check this damn site 10 times a day to learn something new about my chances at this school or that school, which is a total waste of time.

OK...gonna go smoke a cig and reset my morning. I'm going to optimistic, b/c "This weeks going to be better than the last".
