I'll put myself down as the first one on this list. Basically i've accepted the fact that i'm probably not getting in anywhere this year since i haven't even had an interview yet. Oh well, it sucks but it only motivates me that much more.
I only applied to the California schools since i'm a California resident and i wanted to stay here. Man was that a bad idea. Talk about some of the hardest schools to get into.
Here's my stats for those that are wondering
UCSD Biochem major graduated in sept. 2005
GPA 3.1
Science 3.1
Dat scores (AA/TS/PAT)
19/19/20
I'm going to retake the DAT, join the UCSD pre-dental club and volunteer at the free clinic that our pre-dental club operates.
If anyone could give me some suggestions of things to do that would help my app for next year that would be awesome.
Congratulations to all those that got in this cycle and to all those out there like me, no worries. We've learned and now we will dominate.
