Why are there so many Class Threads in the Pre-Pharmacy Forum?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.

I don't want to sound like an ass but why are there so many Class Threads in the Pre-Pharmacy forum. Maybe I am missing something but I see 9 threads on the first page pertaining to General Pre-Pharmacy questions.

Is it that this is the most active forum? Nobody knows about the Class Threads Forum? Or am I missing something? If this is a non-issue, then just ignore. I just find a hard time sorting through the stuff that I can relate to or be able to respond to effectively.

Best,

Steven

Two factors at play I think:

1) Like you alluded to, this is prepharm. So lots of people are very interested in particular schools/classes/etc. Subforms are virtually never used.

2) It gets really bad around admission time. Things usually settle down and get back to the big issues (saturation, do you call yourself dr, etc) once the interview season is over.

Med forums are much worse. That's why they created a school thread section I believe.
