My coworker sent me this and nothing has been more accurate in the history of medical school applications.

Cheers everyone, happy holidays!

Idk how many people really want to log into a student portal to read:

"We think you're OK, but we're hoping the next few months of interviews give us even better people than you, so we're sitting on your app a while to decide if you're really what we've got to work with"

Probably because there are between 3,000 and 14,000 applicants and only 5-50 staff to review applications.

Additionally, they just may not have anything interesting to tell you yet because you are middle of the pack or neck-and-neck with many others that they are dwindling down

I like Michigan’s way of doing things. They really have a lot of information for their applicants.

We say we want the god honest truth but most premeds are so neurotic and have such abysmally low self-esteem I worry about what they’d do with more info lol.
