Why do some secondaries take so long to receive?

I know they say that they are screening, but I am sure no one is doing that manually. Doesn't a computer just do that for them? Just push go and get the list of those who qualify and then send out the email?

Most schools don't screen. The secondaries don't come out right away because schools are still working on finalizing this year's entering class, and don't want to deal with this application cycle just yet. Most will come around mid-July.

maybe they aren't ready for the season yet??????

these are full time physicians and scientists that are volunteering their time to the effort. secondaries coming in was the least time-taking step of the process.

I like the current way. I don't want all the secondaries come at the same time!
