Hi,
just got a quick question about GPA and am sooo worried about this,
why does your GPA go down when ADSAS calculates it??
at my school A=4, B=3, C=2, D=1 and that's how I calculated my GPA, will it go down after AADSAS calculates it????

thanks alllooot for your input 👍

Common guys...No one knows the answer to this one, I asked my advisor and he said that's what aadsas uses to calculate GPA but on this forum I have seen several pple posting lower AADSAS GPA's so I guess my advisor is just an idiot ......pleeeeease guys advice
thanks alot 😍 😍

There would be no reason that your gpa would be any different. It only goes down if you had to repeat a course.

Your GPA shouldn't go down because it's the same as scale AADSAS uses. And it's not true that everyone's goes down. GPA will go down if your school gives an extra 0.5 for every plus but that's unfair anyways cuz you're getting more than what is typically allocated. Your .5 will go down to a .333 and you don't have to worry about having an A- or a B- so infact, your GPA might be higher than if you were in a different system.

My GPA will go up because I was lucky enough to grab a couple A+'s and get 4.333s (not braggin, just showing why sometimes it goes up).

Wait us saying that AASDAS takes an A- and makes it into an A? And a B-, into a B? My school only give .33 for a +. A-=3.7

Who knows?. A lower gpa, as listed by AADSAS, is cetainly not the be-all-of-end-all: keep in mind that dental schools will also have a copy of your transcripts and they will see your gpa as calculated by your school. AADAS is more of an 'organized' interpretation of your academic career and dental schools will always defer to your official transcripts to solve any discrepencies and to obtain the final word concerning your coursework and associated grades.
