Dude, UCI loves you! Just don't move to Boston until the LAST POSSIBLE DAY!

What I learned today is that things change FAST and you have no idea when that will happen!

Maybe too many have been admitted. I know 7 people who were holding spots at any given time. Only one has withdrawn The rest chose UCI over USC, UCSD, and UCSF (because of prime-lc) or only got into UCI. Is that what's hurting the rest of us UCI-ers?

it's in southern Cali, probably around 45-50 miles south of downtown LA. UCI itself is about five minutes from the coast and Newport Beach (where that FOX show "The OC" takes place)

but oddly the OC is filmed at Manhattan Beach and not really Newport.

Kind of near LAX, south of Santa Monica and north of Redondo. That is one NICE community... I visited some family friends there when I went down for my UCI interview.... definitely not going to be in my price range anytime soon.

SC, keep the faith. You love UCI and they know that. Jyst because you didn't get the call last night, don't sweat it. There's still plenty of time 🙂

Where is Manhattan Beach?

I love Manhattan Beach! It's so beautiful and chill there. We used to go to the beach there to study and then we'd get fish tacos at Wahoos! Ummm, fish tacos. I was fiending (sp?) for them and so I got some when I went down for the 'SC reception. They have the most beautiful houses right or very near to the beach. Everytime I'm there I say I am going to live there some day. I told my boyfriend to hurry up and publish a novel (he wants to write) so we can buy a house right on the beach in Manhattan Beach. That way I can have my breakfast in the morning looking at the ocean while I wait for my chaufer to come pick me up and take me to school in the morning 🙂

There are fish taco places up here too! I've never tried one though, I'm scared of the idea personally.
