I'm filling out Georgetown's secondary, and I'd like advice for answering what I see to be:

1. why georgetown
2. do you have any connections

For #2, what can I say to soften the blow of not having any connections?

several schools ask about any connections you may have. they don't expect many people to actually have connections, and you certainly don't need to soften the blow. just say that you don't have any connections with this school. wow, i just used the word "connections" a lot. try not to do that 😉
