Why Medicine?

I have an interview in a couple of days and don't know how to exactly put the wording to the answer of this question. People who have already had interviews and thought of this question, can you please shed some light by indicate what you said exactly.

everyone has his/her unique answer....

I was looking for an answer for "why medicine" 2 months ago too because my intervews were coming up.... but after 1 or 2 interviews, i realized that using a "standard answer" is not as good as "be yourself".... maybe use 30 mins, take some deep breath and really THINK about it...why do YOU want to be a doctor...

using a standard answer is not really going to be convincing unless you just want to get it over with.. (in this case, do a research on the forum, there have been several discussions on this topic already)

you are correct. I know why I want to be a doctor/physician. But why Medicine needs a different answer. I just want ideas or others opinion. Thankx.

they are basically asking you why do you want to be a doctor 😉
