Why no interviews?!

I am so frustrated now. Here is my status. AA21 PA21 QR21 RC20 Bio20 GC24 OC21 TS22. GPA 3.58 UCLA Biochem. I have done fair amount of research and dental clinic volunteer work. And I applied for UCLA, UCSF, UOP, USC, UPEN, Colombia, Michigan, Harvard. Beside the rejection from Harvard, I havn't heard anything from other school. Why no interviews? Need you guys help.

When did you apply.... And you will only get speculations and assumptions from the forum users, no one knows every aspect of your application like adcoms

When did you submit your application? Look on the bright side, you did not get any rejection letters either (exception Harvard).
Make sure that your application is complete. Most schools will send you a completion email. If you did not received one, you might want to call them and ask if your application is complete.

i would say also b/c of your school choices.. (even though you have very nice stats, to them it is just another student)

but i am pretty sure you'll be hearing from some of them in near future, hopefully before Dec 1 interview

definitely depends on when you applied, if i was working in the admissions, i'd interview you 😀.
But all the schools that you applied to are very competitive... and admission is pretty random

I kind of agree with this...your stats are good, but you shouldn't have limited your school choices to only the best/most selective.

I have similar stats to you and my app was sent 7/24. Although my letters of rec did hold me up until mid August. Nonetheless I got a USC interview on 10/27. I was extremely frustrated too about not getting anything. Its all about being patient.

I'm no expert..but you applied to schools where your stats are considered average and below average in some cases. You still have a good shot. Just stick it out and when you do get an interview, it will be so sweet!!

He is a strong candidate who deserves to go those schools, but yeah, just got to wait a lilttle longer.
A 3.58 at UCLA is not to be taken lightly and he has the DAT scores to go along with it. Good luck OP

We can't really address this without knowing when you applied. It takes about 2-3 months to hear back after ones application is complete.

Though I think you should add a few schools just in case, but I wouldn't be too worried. I'm also a UCLA (3.61 Bio 21DAT) student and applied to similar places and have received a few interviews. Just hang in there 🙂.
