There's sort of a general (often disregarded) rule that we don't make separate forums or subforums that won't get much traffic. Not counting the Fellowship app cycle sticky, there are 2 rheumatology threads in the "Other Subspecialties" subforum (which could honestly have been merged but I'm lazy) that have had activity in the past 6 months. That's hardly enough traffic to warrant a separate forum.

In the sense that it's more competitive than nephrology, sure.

Basically only the bigger fields get their own forums. The remainder of the fellowships are smaller.
