Why so many residencies in CA?

I noticed tons of reidency placements in California for the Finch Med school (aka Rosalind Franklin). Is there some California connection?

I think Cali people are the number one state who goes there.

one of it's other names (at least in chi-town) is chicago medical school. but it's affectionately known as "california medical school" for the large percentage of california people who go there, like jalby said. and almost everybody wants to go back.

What's up with Cali residents and Chicago.. I swear I know more people attending medical school in that city than I do in the entire state of California!
