Anyone gotten ANYTHING from WICHE lately?

They keep losing my stuff also. I've filled out two applications and had DAT scores sent twice.

I know OCT 15 was a deadline of some sort with letters supposed to be sent out immediatly. They won't answer the phone either...

What's the next step for WICHE applicants?

lol, i don't know. This whole WICHE thing makes no sense. I get different answers everytime I call. Maybe that's why they are so confused when I ask "You get my DAT scores yet"?. They have to rank the students somehow though for funding...I would think DAT would have something to do with it. I can't remember, did you submit transcripts from all your schools? It's been awhile and I can't remember what I did.

The only thing I did was fill out the required number of forms off of the AZ board of regents site. Then I got it notarized. I don't think I submitted any transcripts.

They told us to fill out the residency forms and wrote a 1-2 page bio. No DAT or transcripts

Ya, you dont need to submit DAT scores or transcripts. I think the two main thing that they look at is if you submitted your application on time and if you have been admitted to a dental school. They make their decision for who gets the money in the spring so i would guess the sooner you have been admitted the better. I dont know what else they look at. I got that information from reading the brochure

So...the latest from WICHE. I managed to get to the head office so I think it's the truth this time.

Letters of WICHE certification for AZ residents are being mailed next week from the CO main office. This is probably the same as other WICHE states.

These are the letters addressed to the applicants. Some schools are requesting a copy of this letter to be sent to them by the students.

WICHE HQ is sending a master copy of ALL students from all states who are WICHE certified to the WICHE receiving schools.

Then we sit and wait again! Until money comes rolling in.....o that would be nice.

i got my wiche letter on saturday saying i am eligible. 76 were elegible and only about 10-17 will be aided.

better call tomorrow! hopefully it's coming and not because you screwed something up or they lost something
