Hey I took the MCAT twice

The first time i scored (PS-VR-BS-W) 10 10 8 R

I wanted to destroy it my second time around and ended up getting 11-8-11 R

I improved in the sciences like I wanted to but my verbal mysteriously dropped. Am I screwed/should I withdraw my apps? How will the adcom perceive this given I got a 10 VR first time then 8 second time?

Any thoughts and opinions would be helpful.

Thanks

Erik

verbal is a crapsho0t.

some schools will take the highest score in each section, most schools (i heard) will take the highest overall score.

if the rest of your application is well-rounded (GPA, EC's, LORs) then you definitely should finish applying. A score of 30R is not bad at all, and will get you into a school as long as the rest of your app is strong. Don't be afraid of DO schools either.

Apply to schools that take the best of each section. You will have a 32. I would also just still apply in general but that's just me.
