If you were not accepted into a dental school's predoctoral program, would that make it less likely for you to be accepted into their OMFS residency program later on?
I'm basically wondering—do program directors ever check with their school's predoctoral admissions committee to see if an applicant had previously applied and been rejected, and why?
Just trying to understand how much (if at all) a past rejection might affect residency chances.
