Will any of these schools screen me out because of my 7 in verbal?

i don't know about getting automatically screened out but you won't really have a good shot at almost all of the schools you've listed with a 7 in VR

A VR7 is lethal for all MD schools, except for the PR schools, HBCs, and a few state schools.

Rfums m3 class currently has a student with a 6 in verbal but a 33 composite (who was accepted through the traditional md pathway) so not lethal.

Add rosalind Franklin to your list.

NW, Pitt, and Washington (if not a WA resident) are all competitive. I wouldn't be holding my breath at those schools with your numbers - a 7 in verbal notwithstanding.

I should add that the same is true at BU, Brown, and Dartmouth.

Thanks for your input. Can you tell me some schools that I can add to my list?

can you tell me some schools that i can add to my list then?

your state schools
CMS at RFUMS
Wayne State
Drexel
Temple
EVMS
VCU
Quinnipiac
Penn State
GW

that's all i can think of off the top of my head... get MSAR

Historically Black Colleges; Puerto Rican schools
what are HBCs and PR schools?

Outliers aren't representative of the norm, and having a VR 7 means you're in the <10th %ile, and so I think it's important to stay in the realm of what's more likely doable. If OP is willing to gamble, chances would be best in the lowest of the low tiers, and state schools (except CA).

Anything below 8 is going to hurt you alot. Honestly I suggest a retake.

If no to retake then take every top tier school off your list and replace them with DO schools and you have a chance.

Agree here get the msar and apply strategically... Creighton is a school off the top of my head I would add too.

I have a 7 in PS (arguably less acceptable than a 7 in verbal) and got three MD interview invites with a 29 overall so I don't think it's necessarily lethal. That being said, I'm certain my seven killed my chances at several schools that I feel would have invited me otherwise. I'd retake if you're aiming as high as the list you made.
