Will early Step 2 help?

Since I only did mediocre on my Step 1 (low 220s), I took my Step 2 early so that I could include it on my app. I got in the mid 240s. Will this compensate for my low Step 1, or am I still in trouble?

I am in a similar situtation and would be interested to hear others opintions. I got 214 on step 1 and 250 on step 2. Thanks for any comments.
