Endocrinology is being offered next semester and I need a bio class. Is endocrinology a big part of the dental school curriculum?

I'm currently signed up for Immunology & Hematology which I heard is a big part of dental school but due to my schedule I might have to switch into endocrinology.

Not nearly as big as histology, gross anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, or microbiology. If you're up for the challenge and can sign up for any of those, they're your best bet for dental school prep.

Thanks. I'm currently taking General (Human) Physiology and Biochem this semester. I will be taking Microbiology next Fall.

Next semester I had planned on taking Genetics and Immunology and Hematology but am having schedule conflicts. If I take Endocrinology I will be taking Anatomy & Physiology with it.

Any other opinions?

I took endocrinology in undergrad and it went into a lot of detail compared to what's in dental school. I agree with the previous post--take histology or immuno if you can. All the endocrinology you need you will get in a physiology class.
