The Palm Z22 apparently starts at just $99. Will Epocrates work on it?

The only requirements on the Epocrates site are Palm OS version 5 and higher, and 10.6 MB of memory.

The Z22 runs Palm OS Garnet 5.4, and has 20 MBs of user accessible memory...

Sorry to be picky, but didn't you answer your own question?

Min Requirement is Palm OS 5.0. You have 5.4. Needs 10.6MB memory, you have 20MB

I am sorry but I would never go with the Palm Z22. There are no memory card slot! Go with a Palm TX!

Well, I just wanted to make sure that it would work. $99 is nothing, and is quite different from $399 for the TX. If all I'm going to do is use the PDA for Epocrates, then the Z22 is good enough, right?

It was new, but it was refurbished.

For what she needs it for, it think its too much PDA, but I wanted her to learn to be more tech savvy. I'll just have to be around to show her how to make use of all the technology.

She recently told me she loves it, and she's constantly finding new things in it everyday.

well just by i doubt if epocrates will be the only use for your pda. with lots and lots of very helpful softwares.... and i mean very very helpful, you'll realize that you don;t have enough space for everything
