I reported on my TMDSAS application that I will be completing a second BS degree. However, with the application process, time off for interviews, and financial reason, I can't take all the classes listed on my application and will not complete the degree. Will that result affect my acceptance (to UTMB Galveston)?

Thanks

Also curious about this. Bump.

I would call up the school and ask. If it was your first Bachelor's degree, it would definitely be grounds for a revoked acceptance. Schools are generally pretty lenient with minors. I'm not sure exactly where a second degree/ major would fall in.

Send an update letter now with sections for "Updated degree plan", "Current Extracurricular Activities", "1st semester grades".... as long as you embed your notification about your change of degree within an update letter, they won't be able to hold it against you in August when you matriculate (since chances are they won't read the letter fully until it's too late... but it will still be in your file!!) if that makes any sense (i'm tired...)

I'm hoping this is the case. When I was interviewed and accepted I planned on, and was one class short of receiving a minor in history. However, hurricane Katrina screwed up the semesters so bad I just can't get it with out paying alot of money to Tulane that I can't justify. I'm hoping that they understand it, I figured they would.
