Will having another acceptance decrease my chances of being taken off the waitlist?

If I am waitlisted at my top medical school (A), will being accepted to another medical school (B) decrease my chances of being accepted into A? I am pretty sure that schools in which you are waitlisted at can see if you got other acceptances prior to taking you off the waitlist. If that is the case, wouldn't they prefer to accept someone who has not been accepted elsewhere? Or will school A will see you as a better student because you were already accepted into B, and hence, they consider you a better student than those who have not been accepted elsewhere?

I hope I explained myself clearly, as English is not my first language. Thanks in anticipation!

Only if you're a superstar who got into a Stanford/Harvard class school.

Wake will not care if you got into Drexel. Neither will Harvard
