If I have taken the LSAT before I decided that I wanted to do medicine instead- will that hurt my application or show ambivalence or lack of committment to Medical schools?

Is it better if I took the LSAT way earlier than the MCAT? or would it have been better if I had taken the MCAT first?

I did well on the LSAT. Med school is not my fallback (as if it could be)

HAHAHAHAHA. How would Med Schools even know you took it?

Fact is they won't know or care enough to affect your chances at all.

Maybe if you put it in your activities on the AMCAS, but otherwise, how would they know?

Oh, lol, oops. For some reason, my friend told me they could see... I guess I wasn't really thinking...

Thanks!

You can list it under other standardized tests, and I think there's a good case to be made for doing so. The LSAT is a hard test that requires a largely different skill set than the MCAT. To knock both out of the park is a great accomplishment.

I would list it, and have a darn good reason prepared as to why Medicine in lieu of Law for your interviews. It would highlight an important accomplishment, and allow you a good vehicle to tell them why medicine is the perfect fit for you.
