Will I be able to replace a grade in a 2.5 credit class with a 1 credit class?

I received a C in orgo lab 1 , which is 2.5 credits in my school. I want to replace it in the future, but everywhere I search the seperate lab component class is 1 credit. Am I screwed?

From everything I have read you will not be able to replace it. Do you have other C's? If your GPA is decent a single C (maybe even a couple) won't sink you.
