Hey Guys,

I had a quick question about when my application will be reviewed.

I submit my application really early and I was in the first mailing on (6/27) but AADSAS didn't have my DAT scores and LORs until now. Both are going to be mailed to schools on Monday but I was wondering...

For schools that haven't started reviewing applications, will I be on top of the pile and reviewed with other applicants from the first mailing or will I be reviewed later because my application wasn't complete until the 4th/5th mailing?

Its kind of out of your hands at this point.

If they review it first are you going to jump for joy?
If they review it at the bottom of the pile... will you turn back time?

Just relax and chill out because there is not much more that you can do except prepare for interviews.

i think the better question is: is this a queue (FIFO) or stack (FILO)?

if it's a queue [first in, first out] then it's good to be on the 'bottom' (first submitted)

but if it's a stack [first in, last out] it's better to be on the 'top' (most recent)

who knew my programming background would allow me to be so philosophical..=P

Not sure if you're being serious or not...but first in is definitely "first out" in this case

No body knows. Every school is different, some will go by First-come-First-serve, others will just pile new applications on top of existing ones.

Others will pre-screen applications by GPA/DAT, those with highest will be at the top of list (irrespective of when they were received ~ as long as they were before the adcoms start the reviewing process).
