This thread is harsh. But you should take it as a lesson. "Always do your homework." In one way or another, we are all willing to help out in this forum. But if you don't do your part, don't expect others to help you as you hope. You are about to get in a grad school, that is a little bit closer to real life. Take a negative feedback and view it in a positive way.

That is something very interesting. When I took the DAT in July 2003 my PAT was also 19 but I was in the 91% percentile. My 23 AA was 99.3%. Hmmm....

Percentile is a way of the schools normalizing the scores from different test forms. There are about 3 or 4 different test forms out there and each test form is normalized as to eliminate any discrepancy in difficulty of material in test form. For example, my 20 on PAT in my test form will show up as 93% because I did better than 93% of the people who had the same test form. On the other hand someone who had a different test form might have also gotten a 20 and instead their percentile was 89. That would be because his testform was actually easier than mine, in that people were scoring higher.

why does it seam to me like that my 23AA is not that great. cause i have been going over the posts from the last month and no one has gotten anything below a 20 and many have gotten a 22-23.

should i still worry about not getting in?? or do i just have too much free time on my hands. any one who has gotten in and would like to help me please post you dat and gpa so i dont worry for the next 8 months.

Are you serious? Unless the rest of your ap completely sucks you will probably get in, I think those scores are probably in the top 5 percent of the people applying. However, I think it is rude to come on a forum with extremely high scores and ask if you will get in. Especially when there are so many people with low scores, really hoping that they will get in. Good luck anyhow.
