Hey everyone! I'm applying to PT schools and well I want to know my chances of getting in.

Overall GPA: 3.5
Science GPA: 3.49
GRE: 800 (I'm a horrible test taker)
Observation hours: 100+

I'm a member of the Student Government, Vice President of SAAC (Student Athletic Advisory Committee), member of Exercise Science Club and Chemistry Society.

I'm also a three sport varsity athlete where I've been named academic all conference several times, all conference eight times (for all three sports), and Dean's list.

Most of the schools I'm applying require GRE scores but are not taken in consideration as much as the rest pre-reqs.

Thanks!

I had a overall GPA of 3.77 and a prereq GPA of 3.64, not nearly as many observation hours as you but quite a bit of volunteering. My GRE was 830 (I hate timed test) and was waitlisted at my first choice school but got in eventually. I suggest you do something to raise that GRE like the flash cards or the class. Of course it depends on the school you are applying to and whether they care about the GRE.

that's a solid GPA. GRE could use improvement, but you should get in. how did you do on the quantitative section of the GRE?

my program doesn't really care what your GRE score is so long as you have a high GPA. however, they do expect us to get at least 1000 in some combination. your BEST bet would be to contact the programs you are interested in directly and ask them. no point in retaking the test if you don't need to🙂 on the other hand, no point in not retaking it if that's the only thing holding you back!
