I know you've all seen a million and one of these type posts, but I'd love some feedback on my chances of getting into a post-baccalaureate program as its proven difficult to find any comforting information out there so far.

Stats:
3.63 cumulative gpa-with an upward trend at a state school
28 ACT
3 semester of research culminating with its presentation at MPA in Chicago
200+ hours of shadowing physicians in three different specialties
Honors society member
History in fashion & costume design

I've applied to Bryn Mawr, Goucher, George Washington University, Scripps, Wash U, University of Florida, U of Montana, and University of Virginia. I tried to apply to a wide range of schools to increase my chances of acceptance, but UVA rejected me this morning in what seemed to be a form letter. This has me slightly discouraged, so I thought I'd look to you all for some advice!

Anything would be appreciated!

Hi! I think you have a good chance of getting into at least one of these programs! Don't be discouraged yet, as it's still relatively early in the application cycle. You could also ask UVA if they had any feedback on your application, I've read about folks doing that before and getting some good advice. Though I'm curious, how have you already heard back from them? I saw that you mentioned you hadn't yet been verified by PostBacCas in another thread.

That's what I thought was very strange as well! PostBaccCAS is still waiting for my transcripts to arrive and to verify my application. It seemed like UVA would wait until verification to review my app...but I guess they didn't think that was necessary. I suppose I could email them to ask for further clarification!

What in the world, you should definitely ask them what's up. I didn't even know they could see your application if you hadn't submitted your app (and by extension gotten verified by PostBacCas). Good luck!!!

Hello! I was wondering if you heard back from the GW program or had any info about it. Thanks!

i have not heard from GW...uconn has put me in the queue....anybody have experience with this?

I heard back from GW pretty quickly and was rejected quickly, so thats probably a good sign for you!

Update: Though I was rejected by a lot of schools, I was accepted to a few listed and decided to attend the program at Montana State University in Bozeman! Very excited about this 🙂

Congratulations and good luck to you moving forward!!
