Do you think I will qualify for FAP if I received the Pell Grant in college? My parents make more than 60,000, but less than 65,000. I have a family size of 4.

Maybe; I would need to know your family's exact income to say for sure. This is the AAMC's page on eligibility. Italics added.

FAP eligibility decisions are tied directly to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' poverty level guidelines. For the 2011 calendar year, applicants whose 2010 total family income is 300 percent or less of the 2010 poverty level for their family size will be approved for fee assistance.

Other Eligibility Rules
In addition, you are eligible for the Fee Assistance Program only if you are a U.S. citizen, Permanent Resident ("Green Card" holder), or have refugee/asylum status...

This is a page with information on poverty levels for 2010. I quickly skimmed it; however, it looks like it doesn't go up to 300% and neither did a few of the others I looked at. You should be able to figure out 300 from the data, though, or at least get a rough idea.

Of course, the above is only true for this cycle. If you're looking to apply at another time - next year or beyond - you will need to look the past year's data. So, if you're applying in 2012, you'll need the 2011 poverty information.

You can find the 2011 federal poverty guidelines here. http://aspe.hhs.gov/poverty/11poverty.shtml For a family of four, 300% of the federal poverty level is $67,050 so you should qualify if your family income is in the low $60k range. I qualified for FAP this year and it is pretty easy to apply for...enter a couple of figures based on your family's taxes and submit your application. They will tell you quite quickly (I think immediately) whether or not your family income level qualifies.

Be aware that FAP takes both your income and your parents' income into account. So if you have a job, your income might push you out of FAP qualification. Still, you should certainly fill out the application!
