Slight dilemma (or maybe not)

I am planning to apply this year to matriculate Fall of 2014, but I will not be finished by pre-dental course requirements until the winter of 2013. I will be taking my DAT's before finishing my pre-reqs as well. Till this point I thought it would be fine, but I haven't really considered until now whether or not I have to be finished all my pre-req's before I submit my application.

Will I still be eligible to apply this summer?

I didn't finish my pre-reqs when I had applied. I was still given two interviews. Just try to make sure you can take them this fall 2013 so they see that you are registered for them. And ace the DAT!

I still need to take the Ochem lab during the spring term, and I was accepted at three schools. From my experience, they don't care when you take them, just as long as you do. I would just try to have the classes you need for the DAT finished or in progress when you take it. It is better to review material when studying for the DAT rather than learn material.

I will be finished all my classes except 2 labs (genetics & orgo 2) and biochem by the time i apply. So in the fall i'll only be taking 1 class (part-time).

Hopefuly the schools won't mind.

It really depends on how many pre-reqs you need to take before you apply and in what courses. If you have the basic ones down (GC, OC, Bio, Physics & corresponding labs, & some upper level bio) you should be okay.

I know that SOME schools will specifically wait for grades for certain classes to come out before they review your application (i.e. they won't review it until your biochem grade comes in at the end of the fall semester of 2013 which will put you behind even if you submit your app in June).

Crap... My last class is biochem in the fall. Do most schools do this?
