Those factor will HELP you significantly and make you a VERY competitive candidate but alas, there is the rest of the package.

There is the personal statement (essay) that you have to write to explain why you're interested in the field. There are additional essay that ask you to explain why you chose a school. Other essay might ask other things (but are optional) I hope your reasons are good.

You need to look at the application. They want to know:

1) Volunteering EXP
2) Work EXP
3) Award/Honor/Publication

These things are there but don't let them make you feel like you HAVE to force it to do them. Just do them if they feel right to you and if not, explain honestly why. For an example: I didn't do research cause I am not a research man. LOL!

Well that's my thought on it.

ty for the info, are you currently still in pharm school?

No, I am an applicant right now for fall of 2013 so we're in the same boat if you're applying too.

I got all of that from experience with the application + reading around the forum etc
